The Lock Desk Analyst plays a crucialrole in the daily operations of the secondary department by assisting with various functions such asreviewing rate sheets, conductingpricing audits, and handling lockrequests. In addition to these responsibilities, a lock desk analyst isalso tasked with managing extensions, processing loan parameter change requests, and facilitating re-locks as needed.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit the pricing system daily toensure the accuracy of publishedrates.
- Ensure all pricing-related data isaccurately entered and maintained.
- Review and verify lock requestsreceived by the lock desk.
- Handle lock maintenance requestssuch as extensions, re-locks,updates, renegotiations, etc.
- Assist with pricing-relatedquestions regarding policies,procedures, and investorguidelines.
- Research pricing requests andupdate the system with requiredpricing changes.
- The Lock Desk Analyst is expectedto maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time everyday.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree (Economics,Finance, or other quantitative focuspreferred)
- Ability to communicate effectivelyat multiple levels, both internallyand externally·
- Strong professionalism, ethics andcharacter
- Should exhibit a willingness tolearn and ask questions.
- Problem solving skills..Critical Thinker with strongaptitude and reasoning problemsolver.
- A Strong sense of urgency isneeded for this position.
